We love the coloring, and the partial die-cut-shaker idea used here! Very creative and so well executed!

Challenge #98- Bah Humbug!

It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas........but not here at Inkspirational! We say 'Bah Humbug!' to Christmas. Show us anything you've made that has NOT got a Christmas theme.

Like Scrooge, Inkspirational challenges will NOT be taking a Christmas break. But just to help us manage our workload we ask, just for this challenge  :

One Entry Only Please

Please meet our amazing Guest Designer :

Shirley

Hi, I’m Shirley and I love nothing more than sloshing and splattering Distress Inks onto my cards.  You can find plenty of evidence on my blog, shirley-bee’s stamping stuff.  I like to switch between different styles, from one layer CAS to mixed media and everything in between, but as long as it includes Distress Inks, I’m happy.  I have my own line of stamps, The Bee’s Knees, sold through STAMPlorations, and I’m on several design teams.  I live in the UK with my husband and rescue dog.

We will be choosing  a top pick/s from this challenge and inviting one entrant to join us as a Guest Designer.

We're sorry that we may not be able to comment on cards that are uploaded to galleries where we have to register to comment (eg Splitcoast Stampers), or where word verification is enabled. When we can view your card, however, we will still consider it for our top picks.

There are so many cute details in this card, but Susan still achieved a clean look! Also, who can resist a cute love scene!

This tag has a wonderful clean and simple retro look! We love the addition of the blue behind the reindeer!

This is a charming, rustic interpretation of the photo! Some beautiful detail with the snowflakes and the deer family!

Challenge #97 - Flake

Welcome back to Inkspirational. This time we want to see your interpretation of the word prompt 'flake'.

First, please meet our fabulous Guest Designer :

Jane

My name is Jane and I blog about cardmaking and cookery over at Onions and Paper http://onionsandpaper.blogspot.co.uk/ . I've been a crafter all my life - and as I'm now a granny to four, that's a long time! But I only took up cardmaking about 15 years ago - before that I did mostly knitting and cross stitch. I love stamping, encaustic painting, cards with a masculine theme, fancy folds - well, to be honest I love it all!

Here's what our DT made:
