Challenge 68 - Photo inkspiration

Welcome back to Inkspirational - I hope you like the Inkspirational photo we've chosen. I hope it inkspires you to make a project . Although most of the DT have gone with the owls theme (and you can't really get too many owls) , you could be inspired by the wool, the colours, the patterns ...anything.  Just, if it's not obvious, do say how you've been inspired. All types of handmade project are welcome.

Please welcome our talented Guest Designer, Maura

About 7 years ago, a good friend of mine asked if I wanted to join a card-making club with fellow teachers from my school.  I thought to myself, hmmm, not so sure about the card-making, but it would be great to do something fun with my colleagues.  Little did I know… I loved the time with friends, but fell head over heels in love with card-making, and as they say….. the rest is history (Can you say, “addiction”?)!!  I love everything about this hobby - the creativity, the colors, the music I listen to when I craft, the shopping for supplies, and the sharing of my cards with friends - hobbies just don't get much better than this in my book!

And here's some ideas from our Design Team:

Top Picks #66 - Beverages

Current challenge HERE.

You guys blew us away with the entries in our drinks/beverages challenge earlier in the month! Such a high quality of work displayed. Thank you to all of our entries. Here are our top picks:

Deborah

Deborah’s card is so fun and funky. We love her subtle color combination and her splattered, grunge look is great!

Lorraine
We really like Lorraine’s use of bright colors. Her use of sparkle, washi, and sequins creates such a fresh look!

Deepti

We like how Deepti used an off-centered card orientation! There are so many details in this card, but the overall look is so clean.

Congratulations!

Hi. What to say about me... well, I live a somewhat hectic life in sunny Hampshire in the UK with my husband, two daughters and three dogs. I am a chidminder in my day job, and love to pass my love of crafting on to the children I care for. We are often found up to our eyeballs in paint and glue! For me crafting is the ultimate way to relax. I love paper crafting and experimenting with different styles and techniques, and I also crochet and cross stitch sometimes, but these days card making is my main passion. I am thrilled to have been asked to guest DT, and thoroughly enjoyed getting inky making my contribution. I can't wait to see all the entries this month. Good luck! x
