Challenge #148-Designer's Choice

Welcome back to Inkspirational. Yvonne has chosen the challenge and it is to make a Christmas card and use neutral colours only.

Please welcome our Guest Designer:

Heidi

Hi, I’m Heidi Weaver and I live in Blackfalds, Alberta, Canada, a transplant from British Columbia where I grew up.  As well as stamping, I have been enjoying painting, photography and crafts for most of my life.  I am deeply involved with my family, helping animal shelters and helping with charities.  I keep busy catering to my two fur-babies, Mei Li and Khali Kho, as well as enjoying a great many outdoor activities, especially with my two awesome grandsons.  I’ve been stamping seriously since 2011 and am the owner of the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge as well as running my own Blog, Stampin’ Along With Heidi.   I’m thrilled to have been asked to be a Guest Designer for the Inkspirational Challenge.

And now for our DT:

Top Picks Sparkler Photo

Current challenge HERE.

Thank you to all those who played along in our sparkler / fall photo challenge!  We love seeing all the fall inspired entries!

These are our top picks:

We love how she imitated the hanging leaves from the photo into her card! This is such a creative card with the added dimension, beautiful detail, and splashed background!

We love the artsy look of her leaves and the dramatic, graphic background! Her cascade of vibrant, realistic alcohol-inked leaves make for a striking fall themed card.

Lula
Her mixed media tag is rich with color, texture, and details that mirror several elements of the inspiration photo.  It is amazing how she transformed this 'small' canvas to an eye-catching work of art!

Congratulations to our top picks!

Challenge #147 Word Prompt Trend

Welcome back to Inkspirational. This time our word prompt is 'trend', and we look forward to seeing what that means to you.

Please welcome our Guest Designer:

Hello everyone. I am so very honoured and excited to be guest designing for this challenge on Inkspirational. I have been crafting in some way or another since school days, but have been making cards for the past 12 years or so. I don't have a particular style for my cards - as you can see from my blog - and I will try anything at least once. Now I have a Misti, I can now stamp better than 'BM' - Before Misti! I still struggle with clean and simple, but continue to persevere. I hope you can join us in this challenge, and I look forward to seeing your projects.

Now for our Design Team
